Exams

Periodontics is a specialty of dentistry concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of the gums and supportive tissues surrounding the teeth. Our goal is to provide you with the most advanced and effective care in our relaxing, state-of-the-art office. Our aim is to cater to your comfort, and with that in mind, our office has been designed to not look or feel like a dental office.

Our treatment involves surgical and non-surgical periodontics as well as preventative services.

At the initial appointment, we will complete an in-depth medical and dental health history. A thorough periodontal exam will be conducted to evaluate bone loss, periodontal pocketing, loose teeth, bite, temperomandibular joint and other signs of periodontal disease. In addition, an oral cancer screening will be performed. This exam will be as gentle as possible with little or no discomfort. Dr. Chadda will address your specific needs and considerations. We will also review the diagnostic findings along with treatment and fees.

Please assist us at the time of your initial appointment by providing the following information:

1. Your referral slip and x-rays from your referring dentist.
2. A list of medications you are currently taking.
3. If you have dental insurance, please bring any forms or insurance cards with you to the appointment.
